I knew it! I freakin knew it! After 200 episodes, season upon season of watching - I knew this day would come. I ranted and raved that they would pull the show mid-season and not finish up the storyline.

All you loyal fans are pissed and worried about wrapping up with the Ori! Come on people, one word.....FURLINGS! If you don't know what i'm talking about then your not a loyal fan.

I hate TV

They AREN'T pulling it mid-season.

It's going to finish out 10x

They still haven't shot the 2nd half of the season yet. It's not too late for a rewrite if they can't secure another place to air out the end of the story.
It's too late for anything other than the finale.

Not if they've already signed on to take the show to a nother network, do TV movies, do a miniseries, or an actual series of Big Screen titles.

Now a made for TV or direct to DVD movie to wrap up the Ori arc and close the series would be nice.

I don't think a theatrical release would go over too well though.

What's even more brillant is that they even had a show in episode 200 where they have a show on the show used for the same purpose as what SG1 is used for in real life. Now, if anyone were to suspect that SG1 is being used as such and discloses it to the general public, they'd be labeled as crazy since "it's all just make believe".

What's even more brilliant than that is the creativity of your post. Nice work!

LOL - right. Those million of $$ in DVD sales had nothing to do with it. Right.

That and the high ratings from the reruns on Cartoon Network.

Yeah, because they'd have to do a lot of repeat characterizxation so that people could watch it that didn't watch the series.

Exactly. I think a TV movie / DVD release, they could get away w/ just skipping that.

Yeah, I'm hoping for a something more, and this article from gateworld, really shows promise.
There will be original SG-1 content next year in some form or another, and it might even allow us to make up even better-quality stuff. I know it's potentially terrifying to not have twenty hours of new SG-1s next year. There'll be some sort of bridge before we stop completely. I would say 'Not to worry!'"

There you have it folks, the end of Season ten is **CONFIRMED** to NOT be the end of SG1 as we know it!!!
