Well, it appears as though the 70kth post was made in a hidden forum as I haven't seen a public post since when I remember him getting post 69,999.

What? There's no hidden forum here. 😉

In all probability RossMAN saved me tens of thousands of dollars in wasted timeshare expenses.

He's been online the last couple nights. Just got a message from him yesterday about him disabling his PMs

Ross has been helping me start up my business website over the past week. We talked on Skype for a while to get everything in order. He set me up with some great software and had very good insight on the whole web hosting thing. Wouldn't take anything in return for all the help he's given me, even though it's cut into his supper/tv watching time 😉

Thanks again Ross, I appreciate all the help.
 
So I looked for the old Vent thread and instead found two threads of interest. The first was the keeeysam thread in which I saw a post by RossMAN telling people not to donate to a new Vent server but instead to Epoman's family. He also managed to take over Epoman's site after his untimely passing. In addition to that he said he would match all donations to the family with the note RossMAN by putting money towards a new Vent server.

That's just one story of one person who Ross helped. There are countless others and there will be more to come in the future I'm sure.

For me personally, Ross has just always been a nice guy. We didn't ever talk at all on here until the coming of Skype, and then we talked a lot on there, TeamSpeak, and ultimately Ventrilo. At the time I believe I was 16, and as much as I thought I wasn't, I was (and maybe still am) an annoying, obnoxious SOB. Yet Ross (and MrsHoneybee, who I had the pleasure of making acquaintance with during this time period) always put up with it and good times were had.

I've always been a proud supporter of RossMAN, and even further testament to him being a good guy is that he got ActuaryTM to come back and post. (And it was an awesome post, "Tim." 😉) What's frustrating is how humble he is 99% of the time.

For all the hours we spent talking and all the videos I put up for the enjoyment of the Vent crew at that time, never once did Ross reciprocate with a single photo. 🙁

But I think that's what's solidifies him as Grand Nagus. There's a bit of mystery to him. All I know about his personal life is that he lives in Oregon and his wife's first name.
