It's a great game you just need to get the hang of playing it. Takes time to figure out how to move around fast and use the rooftops to your advantage. I haven't even unlocked all the powers yet. The smoke rockets are great when you get them.
 
The game looks really fun, I know my local store has it used and I've got $163 in store credit that I need to burn on something

Once all the panels are out, climb on top and you have to use the touch pad to raise the power core and punch it.

For me once I got rid of all the bad guys around after taking the panels out, there didn't seem to be any more coming. You also need to shoot out the security cameras or else reinforcements show up quickly.

You don't need to shoot all of the panels out, just 5 out of the 8 and the core pops out of the top.

I checked out Target's website early this morning for this deal, and you may want to be aware that some games may not count toward this deal. For example, if you take a look at Infamous: Second Son's product page, it says nothing about a promotion. However, if you look at Need for Speed Rival's product page, it says "special offers: buy two, get one free on select video games".

Fortunately, Target does have an easy way to filter on games that are applicable for this promotion:

The Last of Us is on PSN for pre-order. $60 seems a tad too steep if you ask me.

$40 would have been better. I can wait for a sale.

Do they give an estimated release date ? I'm also going to wait for a sale. I'm curious how good it will look on ps4.

I saw the price listed on IGN...it's too expensive for a double dip but it probably is ok for people who have never played it. Although it comes with the DLC but it still doesn't present a good value to me at this time.
 
I'm interested in the DLC as I have not played it yet but I too don't want to pay 60 bucks for it. You know what they should do is an upgrade option for those who have it for ps3, where you can trade in the ps3 version and for like 20-30 bucks get the remodeled ps4 one.

Which means it will be $70 here. Been meaning to play it but I might as well just get the PS3 version for much cheaper, unless there's a substantial difference between the two.

How much is the PS3 version? The DLC is $15 on the PSN. I have a feeling they are $75 together (without the MP DLC) for the PS3 owners. So how is this a bad deal?
 
For someone who didn't play tlou the ps4 version is a no brainer. The game looked damn good on ps3 so the ps4 version should be a lot better. GTA 5 redone should be pretty bad ass since the ps4 is a lot stronger then the ps3 and that should help dramatically with the visuals

I personally wouldn't buy tlou since I beat it three times on ps3 but I'd get GTA 5 in a heartbeat if the online actually worked right out of the box for the ps4. I did beat the story on GTA 5 but I didn't play it online since it was so screwed up

because people expect everything for free/cheap now a days. people are delusional if they think the last of us "should" be $40 and not the price of a normal retail game. chances are it will also include the dlc, just like tomb raider did for ps4/xbox1, which also retailed at $60.

most likely scenario is it launches at $60, a bunch of people buy it, then a month or so later we'll see it on "sale" for like $40, same thing that happened with tomb raider. it makes no sense for them to launch it at $40 if there are people willing to pay $60 for it, which there are plenty because plenty of ps4 owners don't have a ps3 and missed out on it. the people who aren't willing to pay $60 for it have already waited this long for it, so i'm sure they can wait out another month or 2 after launch for it to hit a lower price point.

What is with this hostility? I haven't played The Last of Us, and I'm in no rush to spend $60 on the PS4 version.

I got no issue waiting for a sale.

When did being consumers and wanting to pay the lesser amount become some kind of a bad thing?

Hey screw you. We are allowed to pick and choose our purchases. I pay full price for more games than most people do even on PC where sales happen all the time, but that doesn't mean I buy everything out there.

Plus what I said is factual. A lot of us who balk at $60 already paid $60 for it before. I would still get it if it was cheaper. That is hardly being spoiled.

Nothing is wrong with not wanting to pay $60. I feel bad for Canadians paying over $70 for new games now.

I've said before, if I can trade my ps3 version of last of us towards the ps4 edition I will buy it. Otherwise I'll wait for a sale, forget some of the story and enjoy replaying it whenever that is.
