Even if the Bluray remote for the PS3 worked for it, that would be great. It's Bluetooth so the only thing really stopping it is lack of drivers. Either that or allow the PlayStation app to function as a remote.

Sony has an app called TV side view that functions as a remote for their network connected TVs, blu-ray players, and receivers. I use it on my android phone. If they could allow that to connect to the ps4 and offer remote functionality then that would be good enough for me.

I use my tablet to control XBMC. It's nice because it offers built in keyboard functionality when you're searching for stuff. That would be ideal for the PS4.
 
I live in a small town and I am really hoping that the walmart here actually has infamous stocked when I take my lunch, since a lot of times they like to wait a day or two. I have one quick question though, if I grab the disc on my lunch break and take it home and put it in the ps4, will it continue to install eveything if I put my system in standby mode?

It takes like a minute to install enough of the game to play.

Game is quite good, visually very impressive. The frame rate is pretty rock solid, no dips even in heavy combat sequences as far as I could tell. I'm still pretty early in the game so combat is a little bland due to the lack of powers but so far it looks promising. I feel like some of the review scores (9/10s) are probably a little generous but then again I've still got so much to play my opinion might change alot.
 
It takes literally 3 minutes or so to install. Visually its great and the effects are awesome. I'm early in the game too so all the powers and attacks are a bit confusing but very fun. The game can get overwhelming quickly. I like the game so far and there are cool things like the sound that comes out of your controller speaker when you spray paint something.

I choose evil path right now but I may start over and do good first. I still have to get used to the game. Very fun and there seems to be a lot to do in the city so far.
 
Maybe somebody should make an Infamous thread so we don't have to filter through comments about console updates and such?

Well, I buckled and bought one today along with infamous. The thumb sticks are definitely an improvement over the last controller. I used to have to let off the stick and center my thumb every once in a while, but it's not a problem anymore.
 
I won't buy a new ps4 until they fix that stupid light. I wonder how much juice that light takes from the battery because I had to charge my controller about every day when I had my ps4. I'm not into infamous I'm awaiting something from naughty dog but the order looks like a sweet game too

I charge my phone every day too.

Really the battery hasn't been an issue for me. I've played long sessions and it has never died during my gameplay since I actually charge it when I'm not using it. I've gotten so used to everything having a rechargeable battery that I just plug it in. I don't think the light drains all that much because it could be a single LED and they aren't all that hard on batteries in general from my experience. I just think they used a small battery to save weight or something.

probably won't happen for a while. They mentioned the possibility of dimming it via a future firmware update, but not removing it.
Not sure why as lots of people would want it off even if it only drains .0001 of the battery. But conspiracy theorists say it has to do with the camera being included in the original specs and the light in the controller having some tie-ins to that, but then the camera was removed and made optional, but the light in the controller remained fixed and always on.
 
The led does not use that much power. I usually charge my controller every other day if I have time to play for a few hours each day. Luckily for me it's not bothersome.

Those are actually pretty cool. You can also have decals designed and placed on the controller to cover up the light. In infamous it changes colors so it's not a solid blue all the time, it will depend on the game too.
