Killer Instinct was great and all, but if they confirm the rumors about used games / internet, is that really enough for you to ignore the negatives?

Doesn't matter how many exclusive games they have, I wont touch the system with what we currently know.

yes, it is, because as i mentioned earlier in this thread (or another one) all these "negatives" don't have much effect on me. hell i own a ki2 cabinet and ki1 and ki2 pcbs for it. i used to be a ki nut.

did they give ANY info about it though? like release time frame, game footage?

But if you're that into KI, I say go for it.

This is my mentality. And if Sony pulls the same crap I'll stick to PC gaming.

Only way I'll change my mind is if the pricing starts to follow Steam pricing. It's the only way to justify not borrowing out games.

Insomniac is a third party developer now but Sony owns Ratchet and Clank IP.

Ratchet and Clank are owned by Sony.

Insomanic burnt some bridges with Sony. They went third part and did Fuse which bombed and a few months ago when they kind of knew it was going to fail they signed a deal with MS to make an exclusive game for them.

was that cartoony one with the soda can looking gun ammo the Insomniac one? didnt really strike my fancy, however i was on the phone when they showed it.

still nothing im really excited about

Yeah, I think it is some kind of persistent world FPS that changes based on cloud servers.

Also, Forza is using the cloud to analyze player racing and build "AI" on it.

I am sure Minecraft will use the cloud in some way as well.
 
so with killer instinct they didn't give any launch time frame or show any actual video of the game? and did they say if it is a totally new game or some hd remake?
