I think that must be part of their plans. They are in league with the greys, and want to anally probe you in front of the kinect so the NSA can record the data. The irony is you had to pay for the instrumentation for your own probing!
Typical M$

I bet they got the insurance companies in on this as well, and your premiums go up after the "event" so you can have access to "special" certified alien expert counselors.

Some of you are clueless.

It's true, you can buy what you want. It's a free country (for now). Those of us with a thought in our head will buy something else. The only ones getting butthurt seem to be the few of you who are "omg gotsta preorder that shitz!" when others are laughing at you.

There is seriously something wrong with this country and the people in it.

New slogan though: The M$ hates your freedom!

Don't worry, I heard that the PS4 will put a barrier around your house so that you can stay safe from the ass rapings. They are the best thing to ever happen to us gamers.

I was pretty impressed by the games, but it doesn't take much for me.
BF4 excites me like crazy, that Metal Gear open world games looks cool and Dead Rising is always super fun in short stints.
I think I'm back on the "buy" bandwagon. If they don't have sweet game sales on Live, I'll just get the games for half price a month after release at the stores like I always have.

You could be a little less fanboy in your posts. I mean, no one here is even suggesting PS4 is any better.

That's what usually happens after an anal probe. Your butt hurts and people laugh at you.

You clearly have not be reading the thread then. Because plenty of people are hailing Sony as the savior and hope Obama should have been. They are our only chance to stop the evil MS from destroying all that is good in the world and siphoning all the money we've earned from our bank accounts. They even have a Xbox One model that takes your 401k and cashes it in for a year of Xbox Live!

All I have to say is wait for the other foot to drop with Sony. They want to do the same thing. They've just been very coy so far. But yah people having been making a lot of unfounded assumptions in Sony's favor based on what they haven't said rather than what they *have* said. This is sort of like a big game of chicken for them. I'd count on Sony announcing something a hair better than MS, but not required so they can blame 99% of the games using it on the Devs. Then later a revision to MS policy to a slightly more friendly policy. Likely in the neighborhood of the unannounced rental/lending area since it wouldn't be specifically back tracking. That's assuming there is and real sales impact to the whole thing.

No talks of pricing outside of the console itself. They are giving away 2 free games per month with Xbox Live though. Not sure on the quality of said games (currently one is Fable 3; yuck!).

Oh you're right. That is exactly what we need. Nintendo making kiddie games and Sony being the only player in the console industry. Sony, the company that brought you the wonderful rootkit DVD, the "champion of used games" that will sue you if you try and modify hardware they sold you. What a wonderful company we need having a monopoly on console gaming.

Kiddie games lol.

Anything without guns and blood and retarded one liner billy bad ass characters with battle scars and goatees is a kiddie game to you. How's that green and brown Microsoft/EA/Activision semen taste? You're just too cool and grown up and mature with your Master Chief and Marcus Fenix undies and airsoft guns aren't you?

I have to apologize to purbeast and American Gunner now for lumping them in with you in my head these past few months/years. At least they can call foul when they see it and even have reservations, but you, MS has you balls deep.

"what little innovation shown was buried underneath a flurry of gunfire"

"Ryse: Call Of Duty with swords."

"sea of sequels that forced the same tired first-person mechanics "

"scripted action sequences and quick time events"

"subjected to old men in suits, a stream of buzzwords, and superficial games that valued visuals over innovation"

etc

Seriously did ANYBODY expect ANYTHING different?

Sigh...

Interactive TV show from Ubisoft using the Kinect looks like kids will love it.

For $500 plus XBL subscription? Hard sell for parents trying to keep food on the table, gas in the car, and the power turned on. The people who can stomach early adopter fees and the $500 price tag are not generally parents with kids, it's gamers who have money to burn.

Gamers with kids, wanting a system. Xbox One wins for kids and gamer parents. Just another reason families who want a system will lean towards one or the other.

Haha...with the backlash against MS that is still boiling over even after their press conference?

Gamers with kids would see the DRM schemes and paywall for F2P and probably balk.

I'm talking everyone I know out of it. Most average casual people who are/were interested aren't even aware of any of the negatives.

So I explained in a way they could understand: they easily angered and understood that your $60 disc is worth $0 as soon as you insert it into the system. That alone was enough, but of course I didn't stop there.

Not just fuck MS/EA/Activision, but fuck this model of gaming for now and forever.

And kids don't usually have $60 to blow on games, they trade their old games in and only keep a few of their favorites on hand if they want to scrape cash together for a new one.

Can't do that with XDildo.

Tom Clancy's The Division looks decent for being a mmo type third person shooter. It is multiplatform though.

I'm sure it'll be the same price. Sony is using more expensive ram than Microsoft so I'm sure it'll be around the same price. They just need to sway us with not needing an Internet connection.
