What did I own before I got it? A first generation iPod 5GB.
Why did I decide to buy a new mp3 player? Because my iPod died.
Why did I buy the Zen Micro?
-FM Tuner
-Microphone
-on the fly partition up to 2GB
-removeable battery

Pleasant Surprises?
-On the fly playlists
-on the fly delete
-with XNJB software, compatible with Macs
-it's small!
-it sounds great
-UI is nearly identical to iPods.

I could not be happier. I ordered some Shure E2Cs for it, and can't wait.

I was thinking about selling my Nomad Zen Xtra (40 gig) and getting the Zen Micro, but I actually DO need the extra storage space. I take it to work, and it plays all day. Nice to have an entire collection like that.

But...it's tempting.
