Depending on where you buy it from, itll be between $40 and $50+, including s+h or taxes. It is for $43 at www.gogamer.com+ shipping, and like $50 at CUSA, BB, CC, etc.

However, if you subscribe to PCGamer, there was a BB 20% off 1 game coupon in an issue earlier this year (May 2002 issue, maybe?). So its $50 at BB, minus 20%, which will be $40+tax, around $44 total here.

Also, the creative people may be able to get the price even lower, with pricematches and stuff. Wheres RossMan when you need him?

I'm pretty sure they'll release MP add on later on, like they did CivIII

I'll definitely be buying GTA3 the day it comes out. All of my friends have played through it on PS2, but I don't own one, so I haven't really played it yet.

The screenshots on the PC look awesome, just hope the control method, particularly for driving, is good.

Now if Microsoft would stop sitting on Halo for the PC I could have everything I want running on my PC and save another $200 on an XBox to go with the $200 I've avoided spending on a PS2...

It is awesome on the PS2, and if they don't screw up the controls on the PC it'll be awesome there, too. I may buy it for PC even though I have it for PS2 already....or maybe I'll just download it.. ;)

Yup went gold yesterday. Should be on shelves the 22nd (Wendesday). I ordered mine from Gamestop for $29 a couple of months ago (was in the hot deals forum). They start shipping the 20th. w00t.

Those are the minimum though. I wouldn't play with that if I were you. Luckily, i got the recommended specs (700mhz, 128mb, 32mb), but I doubt it'll be playable past 1024x768 :(

It'll probably run like Max Payne does...

Well, Max Payne ran pretty great with my current system (1 GHz Athlon, 256MB PC133, RivaTNT 16MB) but im not gonna take any chances of GTA3 not running because of my video card. I bought a GF2 GTS from newegg that Im gonna install in a day or two.

Wow - I would not have thought MP would run on a Riva TNT at all. Interesting . . .

No i was just worried because I haven't upgraded in like a year and a half, but I think my system will do fine (P3-700e @ 980, 768MB, GF2 GTS 32meg)

It's going to be great. Better graphics, hopefully better controls, although I'd assume that I can just play with a gamepad if the keyboard controls get screwed up. Geeze, so many games, so little time. GTA3, Morrowind, that damn annoting bridge game, what should I play?

Controls will definitely be better. Mouse for aiming!!!!! Aiming with a gamepad stinks.
