Along with the price drop which is yet to be seen, I've got the added bonus of my Internet speed being cut in half. I was at 4Mbps and should have gone to 6Mbps, but I'm now at 2Mbps.

I have no way to verify if I actually have basic cable TV as the line runs directly to my modem. There is no splitter so I can't even hook up a TV.

So far this is working out splendidly. :|

Upgrades take time. Why are you whining? Seriously, you will be getting higher speeds and lower prices. And you're complaining?

These kinds of upgrades are taking place all over cable companies and comcast is no exception.

-edit-

Have you truly power cycled your cable modem, waited 60 seconds and then powered it up again? This solves most all problems.

Spidey,

You're the one that's had the negative attitude through all this. All I've been doing is stating the facts as they've occurred.

I'm going to have to assume that you work for Comcast, or some other media provider, or maybe you're just a corporate big-shot wannabee. Regardless, if you want to ride in on your white horse defending Corporate America, could you please find another thread in which to do so?

I've been mum on your attitude since this has begun, but no more.

Right now I'm not getting the service I'm paying for. And you've got a problem with this? WTF?

BTW, I'll not be answering your last question.
