The OFFICIAL ATOT Poll on 'Which came first - the chicken or the egg?'

the chicken could be a mutation, born from a mother of a different species
so maybe an ardvark gave live birth to the mutant "first chicken", hence the chicken was born, not hatched

just an example, this post not intended to divert the thread to the "which came first, the ardvark or the egg" debate

Yup.
The question should be "Which came first, the chicken, or the chicken egg?"
Then you have to define what a chicken egg is. Is it an egg which comes from a chicken, or is it an egg which contains a chicken?
