the official ATOT nerd contest

Well I am currently land locked and have nothing to do. So becoming an anandtech insomniac is filling the void for a normal summer.

7. I could tell you every manufacturer of every chip on my motherboard, video card, any component inside my computer.
6. I know which episode most start trek quotes come from.
5. i know the names and the actors/actresses that plaid almost every star trek character.
4. i have a copy of king authors sword from monty python and the search for the holy grail.
3. i have the search holy grail, jurrasic park, and dune memorized.
2. I have a pair of vulcan ears (somewhere).
1. i have contemplated redoing my hair to become more vulcan like.
0. i post on ATOT and i am a lifer.
-1. I NEVER go outside.
-2. I have nothing to do with people, no parties, nothing
-3. in highschool i made near perfect 100s without studying.
-4. I have worked for every computer department in my school system. Hell, i even did one job for free once, to get away from people and i was bored out of my skull.
-5. using only positive whole numbers is highly ineffiecient
-6. i carry 2 calculators on me at all times, one graphing other scientific (as a back up)
-7. i own a slide rule, ph34r m3

Anand just got married, and is very succesful. At present, I bet he is having "fun" on his honeymoon. He doesnt qualify.
 
I definately lose. I used to be a "geek" in junior high. Back before everyone had a PC and geek just meant you were akward and intelligent and you were therefore an outcast. I grew out of that but I guess I returned to my "geek" roots when I was injured and bored. My PC sucked and so did sitting around with an injured back, broken leg, and broken collar bone so I stumbled upon this site when trying to learn how to build a PC. Then hardware began to bore me so I switched to OT.
