My wife disappeared. She was at the wedding, she said "I do" then immediately turned around and walked out. I haven't seen her since. I've played plenty of game days since then and I can't find her anywhere.

Apparently they walk back to where you found them, so in this case Muiri would be walking back to Markarth from Riften. Maybe she is just really really slow. Or maybe she was killed on the way.

Who'd you marry? I eventually decided on Ysolda and am very happy in my decision. :D

Muiri. I thought she was the best looking one.

edit: but I'm a khajiit. Does that make her a furry? I don't know if I could marry a furry.

I'm a khajiit too and married Muiri :awe: Had the same situation with the wedding. Wait a few days outside the church, go back inside and if she's not there, wait a few hours inside. She'll pop up and ask where to move in.

I was deciding between her and Ysolde on my khajiit assassin. Ysolde looks nicer but I was getting a wrong vibe when she was talking about the khajiit.

Took Aela on my nord 2h warrior.

Are you doing any of the main quest? I would think that the first time you slay a dragon would required before seeing others. So far I've killed probably 20 and I'm at level 33.

Gotta do the mainquest if you wanna see dragons. I think it starts in Whiterun.

I'm married some chick in Riften who was grateful to have her sword returned. She must like cats; cause I'm a khajit. Maybe I goofed ? She seemed happy enough with the arrangment.

Hum. I've been putting that off till after I finish the thief and mage guild quests. Wonder if that was a good idea? How many levels are there - 100 ?

81. I kind of wish I had not done that quest. Stupid dragons are rats of the sky.

I was under the impression that there are over 70 levels, but it eventually starts taking an extremely long time to level up any more much sooner than that. It seems like I've been stuck on level 41 for quite some time, but that is most likely due to the fact that I stopped power leveling and have just been wandering doing nothing of any importance.

It may be time to start working on a few questlines because I officially ruined the game for myself by leveling smithing and enchanting for the first 40 levels of my character.

Well I definitely didn't power level; I just did quests after quests and a lot of exploration. Hell I was very surprise when the brotherhood recruited me; not even sure I remember what I did to trigger it. Occasionally when in the middle of a quest if I'm confused about a choice I might take a peak but mostly I've just been playing the game ad-hoc. It seems pretty easy game - at least on the default difficulty; the ai is rather stupid. Not sure if my build is good or bad (relative to difficulty); basically sneak/bow type with some perks scattered lots of area. Infact right now I'm trying to save up a few perks to use in enchantment so I can double enchant items when I get there (not sure if it is worth the large number of perks).

My 2H warrior was getting kind of stale so I rolled a new new toon last night, a sneaky Mage type. She probably won't get a ton of attention for a while though with TOR starting this week.

Sweet the Laa launcher makes it just about completely stable. Was crashing every 30 mins before.

Does anyone have any idea why Steam continually reverts my "Do not keep this game up to date" back to "Always keep this game up to date"? Every single day i change this to "DO NOT" and every single day Steam takes it back to "Always." WTF?

Bethsoft requested that.

Anyone found a mod that adds display cases for the dragon claw keys? I'd really like a few in one of my houses...

This is annoying. If I fire this arrow, it hits the floor I'm standing on.

Why is it that games still do this?

Just a guess but I imagine that all the geometry you see has a separate bounding box around it used for hit detection that is less complex than the geometry. Probably in some places this "hit box" is out of alignment with the geometry.

It always does this when I try to shoot down like that. I don't know much about game development but it seems like it would be rather easy just to make the hit box and the texture the same right? Why bother with 2 separate layers when you could just make them the same?

Whatever, I'll just add it to the list of problems with archery in this game (impossible dodges from enemies when I'm undetected, arrows that can shoot 100 feet away but not 101, random invisible walls, sneak attack multipliers not registering, arrows flying right through enemies, etc.)

Has anybody finished the quest "Unfathomable Depths" yet? It involves Avanchnzel.

There's a section of the Avanchnzel boilery that I can't get into. It's blocked off by metal bars, and I can't find a switch/button/lever to open it. There's an enemy inside that I can't reach either. I've looked everywhere for a button.
