So are you able to run the whole test with a shader model 2 card? (Saw the X850 in your sig.)

I should be able to get a bit more with another 100mhz on the CPU, I'll have to do a fresh boot later @2.6ghz and see how much it helps. Definitely owns a FX55, the era of competitive single core gaming performance to dual core is not long for this world me thinks.

Your score is not bad al all ;)
The benchmark is a slideshow, but I guess in a years time will be able to see it fluid with newer graphic cards.

What was your CPU score? I'm very interested in how much HT helped. n/m probably doesn't use it with your CPU.

We now know dual core makes a huge difference, now how about HT? Having fun with this more than any 3DM since '01

It is a good idea to post both 05 & 06 mark for a while so we can get a reference as to where we were from the old mark. Can't wait to run mine tonight, still at work:(

3371. That kicked the crap out of my rig. Especially the CPU tests. Time for an upgrade. :)

Sucker! :p That is just what they are hoping for, that you'll rush out and buy dual core, SLI or xfire, and an SM3 card, if you don't have any/all because of their damned benchmark.

There is statistically less than 1% of all games that can take advantage of dual core or offer any real benefit from having SM3 hardware now right? So why upgrade for some damned benchmark? I remember the nooblets buying DX8 hardware just because they couldn't run all the tests in '01. 3DM is a useful tool, but shouldn't influence a purchasing decision, performance in games you play, and intend to in the near future, along with multimedia capabilities, if that is your bag, should be the deciding factors IMHO.
