I dunno, I still see some cells meandering over from the west and it's still very cloudy and damp around here, those jet dryers have their work cut out for them that's for sure. One local radio talk host suggested the France family let locals in for free to watch the race since a large amount had to leave town and the grandstands will be mostly empty anyway, that would be cool..

Going to make one heck of a short week heading into Pheonix. I would think IF they get on the track it NASCAR will start counting the laps of the jet blowers as well as the cars.

They just got the Start Engines... this will not go 200 laps. My bet is this is going to be a 101 lap race because on the different radars I've been studying it's going to rain again in about 90 minutes and all the teams know it.

She can't win but car looks good enough to maintain speed so maybe she can finish if stays out of the many more wrecks to come.

Poor Jimma. I did yell " hit him" when he was sitting there helplessly but I do feel bad about it. It was just instinct when I see a Hendrick driver. I've asked the garbage disposal for forgiveness and it's silence means it was cool.

I can't answer with any certainty but generally there is some sort of payout for leading halfway. Years ago there was a move amongst some teams wanting 2 or 3 points for leading halfway.
