Yes, a fictionalized version of himself.

Regarding Grass Roots. I had no clue who they were until I looked them up on iTunes and said to myself "I know that song!" half a dozen times.

and oh yeah, the office is a good show and im not complaining about any screen time given to pam, jan or karen.
