The intro with Kevin's chili was gold.

they didn't show everyone eating it did they? i was waiting for that.

Exactly I was waiting for Creed or somebody in the background scrafing down a bowl. The Chili bit in the opening had me near tears. Kevin seriously can do no wrong.

That was awesome. Sometimes I just feel bad for Kevin.

The scene with Toby and Meredith was great, too. "DAMNIT, MEREDITH!! Where are your panties?!!"

"It's CASUAL DAY!"

The show needs to end. It had a some funny bits but the story is getting stupid.

I don't recall any sitcom requiring a deep storyline to make me laugh.

Precisely. They're trying too hard to have an overarching story and it's ruining the funny. The random things like Kevin and his chili, Meredith's casual day, Creed's... well anything related to Creed. Those are funny as hell. But the whole DM sales team vs MSPC sales team that are tied to the bigger story just tend to distract the writers from concentrating on making a funny show. The bits that came out of that story seem really forced and weren't all that humorous.

Not even close.

Tonight's episode was pretty great IMO. Dwight with his "Who's Philip?" and immediately after, "Did Philip tip her over?" was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen on this show. Loved the dance-off between Andy and Kelly.

wow she looks so much better with the darker hair

After watching this last episode, I'd have to disagree. With lighter hair she looks cute, with the darker she is just boring IMO.

Decent episode. Wish they would get back to the office though.

I'm guessing you'll have to wait for that until next season. I'm assuming they are setting up for a big Jim & Pam wedding season finale.

Season finale is next week, and it is a company picnic episode. No wedding, but they're bringing back the HR chick Michael dated for a bit, so I imagine that's there the cliffhanger will be.

I didn't like last night's episode for some reason. It had funny moments, but it just didn't come together well. I actually enjoyed Parks and Recreation more.

im predicting when the show comes back next season jim and pam will already be married. doing a big ol' season ending or season opening episode with a wedding doesnt seem like the writers style. kind of like when jim proposed to pam, it was an unexpected event in the middle of a random episode.

Anyone else notice that when Michael was sitting in his office after his rant about "the life of the party" (and after the scene when the new receptionist and Kelly were dancing) that his stereo was back on the shelf behind him?
Maybe he liked the stereo enough to have two - one for "Cafe Disco", and one for his office. :)

Dwight - "...it's the most annoying thing...like children singing Christmas carols..."

Really good episode, I loved it. It's funny how Dwight's remedy actually helped Phyllis...

I have a feeling thats not the end of Dwight and Phyllis. Especially with her suspect of Bob Vance nailing his secretary.

The one thing I didn't like was Dwight being out of character. The opening joke? The dancing? So not Dwight K. Schrute.

NBC has given Mindy Kaling (aka The Office's Kelly Kapoor) her own show.

Kaling has signed a two-year, seven-figure deal to continue writing, producing and starring in The Office, while she'll also develop a new show for the network, in which she will probably star.

"NBC has always taken a chance on me as an on-screen talent, even though there are not Indian-American actresses and I'm not, like, a size zero, so it's this incredible thing," Kaling tells TVGuide.com. "There's not a ton of people who look like me or do what I do."

Kaling will continue to play Kelly for at least another season while she works on writing her pilot. While there is no definite idea for her solo effort yet, she has some ideas. "My favorite shows right now are workplace comedies: 30 Rock, The Office and Parks and Recreation," she says. "It's a place where you have to be professional, so if you aren't professional, then it's very funny. The only thing I'm certain about is that it probably won't be a mock documentary."

That's what it would appear to be. I'm kinda disappointed they aren't doing anything more with Michael and the HR lady (her name slips my mind at this moment).

Preggo!!

it would seem that way, but this is The Office, so it will be something else :p

What else could it be? its so obviously preggers, there was the scene when she was going for an x-ray and the nurse was asking about other radiation, metal plates, and pregnancy...there was even the joke about holding onto her tits for balance implying obvious recent sexual relations between the two...

It would be different if the tone was just shock but there was a shit ton of happiness to go along with the shock.

How do you find out you're pregnant when getting an x-ray on your foot/ankle?
