Ya, tonight's episode was much better than recent episodes. All is right with the world again. Dwight has finally been seen as the scum, Jim stepped up BIG time in making things happen (especially with his diversion in the lunchroom with Dwight), we have a new dynamic with Pam being a saleswoman, and we have a new hot chick at receptionist to look at for a while.

I didn't understand one thing though...did Charles get fired? David said no to his firing, but then Michael said something to the effect of "you're done" to him at the end, and telling him to get out, to which he said nothing.
I think Charles is going to be re-located within the company. Michael was just cutting him off b/c he was in his territory and he could tell him to leave just like Charles did to him earlier when the tables were turned.

I think you mean when the turntables.

you are so right

I'll see your situation and raise you a situation. Your company is losing clients left and right. You have a stockholder meeting coming up, and you're going to have to explain to them why your most profitable branch... is bleeding. So they may be looking for a little change in CFO. So I don't think I need to wait out Dunder Mifflin. I think I just have to wait out you.

Michael owns HARD!

Great episode!

paraphrasing here...

michael: ...and ill just create another company and another company with a different name--
david: [exasperated] michael...
michael: [interrupting] that's one of 'em!

I think the best part was when Ryan didn't factor in variable costs into the business even though he has a MBA.

I dunno, I still like this show.

I always like that although Michael is a huge dumbass and a terrible boss its revealed that he actually has this bizarre talent for sales hidden away. I kind of buy it as the Peter Principle thing. He was awesome as a salesmen so he was promoted to regional manager, where he kind of stinks. Now with his own paper company he's down in the trenches again.

I also like how they show his sales skills from time to time. It was pretty funny when he was explaining how his color coded words in the rolodex meant do not mention and there was Dwight asking about the client's homosexual son.

Green means "Go ahead and don't talk about that." and Orange means "Orange you glad you didn't say that."

The ending of tonight's episode was, uh, weird.

EDIT: Erin is such a cutie.

with Ryan and Pam as salespeople? and Michael back with a new attitude and Dwight his adversary instead of loyal subject? how can it be the same routine? plus there's the new receptionist staying on. she's going to add a new twist. have you seen her youtube vid?

The intro with Kevin's chili was gold.

they didn't show everyone eating it did they? i was waiting for that.

Exactly I was waiting for Creed or somebody in the background scrafing down a bowl. The Chili bit in the opening had me near tears. Kevin seriously can do no wrong.

The show needs to end. It had a some funny bits but the story is getting stupid.

I don't recall any sitcom requiring a deep storyline to make me laugh.

That was awesome. Sometimes I just feel bad for Kevin.

The scene with Toby and Meredith was great, too. "DAMNIT, MEREDITH!! Where are your panties?!!"
