I thought perhaps a no problem thread would be nice for a change.
we see all the lynxsys problem threads, and I even had a netgear problem and got the answers
I needed from the knowledgable people here at anandtech forums.
Well if you have a problem free network,
talk about it here on the NO PROBLEM THREAD.

if thats to boring then, nevermind just go look for some problems, I'm sure there are plenty!!

No problem here. Linksys 4 port router and 5 PCs, was working 10 minutes after taking it out of the box using default settings. Downloads on NT4 of approx 1.5 mbps under 95 of closer to 1.0 mbps using Time Warner
RoadRunner. Life is beautiful!

No problems with my home network...Netgear RT311, Intel switch, Comcast@Home.

No problems at work either. Multiple T1's & ISDN lines, all Cisco switches, routers & firewalls, multiple servers and over 100 workstations.

No problems with my home network:

Ascend DSL Pipe-S (SDSL).
Linux box functioning as a router/firewall.
Netgear FS 105.
CNET CNSH 800 (8 port autosensing switch).

Now down to 4 computers at home. Sold one, didn't need it. All works quite happily and well with SAMBA, ftp, http, etc. :)

No bad things (at least on my side) with a Cisco 675 on USWest DSL, up to 17 pc's and 1 10bT hub. Even got a linux box on the back side serving up FTP, web, and just about anything else that tickles my fancy for testing.

There was the fact that our service went down for a day, but that's not my fault. ;)

Now as soon as we get that static IP, and DNS routing, a real web and mail server, I'll have something to brag about.

No problems here. I have 3 computers networked. 2 running win2k pro using netgear 310tx nics 1 comp (main) running winME using an SMC 1211 nic w/WOL. All tied together with a KINGSTON 5 port workgroup switch. Everything is fine. Protocols in use are TCP/IP and NETBEUI. Just finished setting up ICS on all 3 machines.

Oh!!! there is a problem (tiny one) can't get winME to do automatic logon. The win2k machines does. Tweakui don't help. Win98se did. anyway NO PROBLEM!!! just have to login on each boot.

No problems here either. Many, many machines behind a Linux router and MediaOne cable. I use the setup to telecommute to work daily.
