Are any other loan sources available? I personally never believe in the "live so frugally that I'm miserable" attitude. Sure, you need to be frugal, but not to the extent that it harms your life noticibly.
In other words you can (A) be miserable for a year to save $2300 or (B) work a measly 80 more hours when you are 67 to pay off the loan from now. Hmm, which sounds better? Think about it, and that should be your choice here.
