The next two days are going to suck.

They're redoing the kitchen floor in our house. No using the kitchen (blah) and the appliances are taking up room in the rest of the house.

I'm hiding in the basement. This sucks, because eating out is expensive.

Hit up taco bell.

You can get like 5 different kinds of things for $5. You can't beat that.

A friend of mine went through this when they re-did their kitchen. As I remember it took forever and they have 2 little kids!

the parents redid the entire kitchen. one week would turn into two. i think it was almost three weeks before they finished. and half of the delay were parts that were taking their sweet time to arrive.

Six inches of slush outside. It sucks. :D

We're not doing it ourselves (this is a rental), the people here are actually a company, and it's a small kitchen. Thank god. Two days will hopefully be the max amount of time that the microwave will be in the foyeur, and the fridge and stove in the living room. :D

Not yet. It's in the works but it is a financial decision that doesn't make sense at the moment, as we're pursuing our small business goals instead -- especially in Seattle, where housing prices range from $275k for a rat-infested fixer to $450k for a decent place. As much as I hate throwing money out to rent, I can't live with that kind of debt on my shoudlers. :D

Ah, pleasant. They've started up the big machinery now. I can't even hear Bad Religion while I'm working. :|

Ok, this sucks. It's 10:30am (on day 2) and they aren't here yet. Get to work! :|

And all 5 things will taste exactly the same. I love Taco Bell, but face it, their menu doesn't have a whole lot of variety. The difference between most of their stuff is whether the beef goes on BEFORE the lettuce and cheese or if you put on the lettuce and cheese first and add the beef at the end.
