The other companies may still get a 50-state diesel out, but right now, it looks like VW will be first. Personally, I'd like to see a Honda Civic diesel make its way here before the end of the year (k, probably a little too hopeful there)

Find me a gas engine that gets 45MPG and puts out 140HP & 235 ft/lbs of torque. Diesel engines also typically have a much longer service life than gasoline engines.
