oh man, do i feel old 😱

i've been hearing annoying top40/pop ringtones, but i haven't heard musical ringing when you call someone.

maybe i don't have enough 16-21 year old friends 😛
 
Wait, as in, on your phone you hear music instead of the "dooooo.... dooooo....dooooo." sound? I've actually never encountered that.

yes!

after you dial a person's cellphone, instead of the ringing, you hear the ringtone/song until they pick up....on YOUR PHONE.

Oh damn, ive never encountered that. Is that a setting you do on YOUR phone or something they do on THEIR phone?
 
count me as living under a rock too, I havent heard of songs being played while the phone is ringing on the callers end. Now the annoying ringtones on the receivers side are just plain annoying taken to a whole new level of annoyment (is that even a word?)

I just got a singular cell phone, I cant get one simple ringtone...not ONE!@! I have this stooopid insane farm animal rap, some baby CRYING, some song that sounds like japanese anime....simply horrid!!!

all I want is a regular ringing ringtone!!!

called ringback tones. verizon has them as well as t-mobile. i work at a ring tone company so you can all hate me now 😛
 
I think you would need to purchase the cellular bannanular phone.
