OP is messing with you.

Here's a pic of the next pope, he was a student of the old pope:

Probably not as good as this guy will be, though:

Could be him.

Will probably be Angelo Scola though.

I wonder if that is a wise choice, but it wouldn't surprise me. I think the Church is going to be facing some serious challenges in the next 20 years, a younger pope with the energy to deal with it once he has cemented his legacy with tenure might be a better choice. Scola will be in his 80s by the time he gets the bonafides to do the heavy lifting.

I cant really comment on who would make the better Pope as I dont agree with a lot of the basic tenets of Catholicism so it makes my opinion a bit irrelevant.

I just think Scola is the more likely choice for a variety of reasons. (plus my online betting site has him as favourite. ;) )

I think the actions of the last two popes has been shameful and most (if not all) of the Cardinals have been appointed by them. We're not going to get a quality pope from this lot. They've all been part of the problem.

I can see it now...

"Look at us, we elected a black man as Pope! Now be proud of us and pay no attention to this silly impending child sex scandal"

Umm, I have never really considered that the Catholic Church was worried about its progressive image.

Lol, this "lets put a black person in a position of power" stuff is getting way too obvious

Next thing you know, black people will also stop dying in movies!

My money is on the Brazilian since Brazilian man can't be gay because of all that big Brazilian booty. They are going to vote for mr. Macho

Good call. If you go criticize a white pope for protecting pedophiles you're a person who cares about the welfare of children, but if you criticize a black pope for protecting pedophiles you're a racist.
