This is the truth. I used to run a gaming site in 2000 CityofGames.com I know all about this voodoo too hehehe and how it works and then Geforce 6800 SLI and 7800GT all that jazz. Im not here to give numbers but I will tell you what the title of the thread is.

The next gen nVidia or ATI single card is always faster then SLI or XFIRE previous Generation. Thank you and God Bless

It only happened once during a generation jump, 2xHD3870s were slower than a HD4870. Every other time the CrossFire or SLi last-gen combo was faster.

In most cases a 8800gtx beat 2 7900gtx's and as games got more graphically intense that gap widened.

A 4870x2 will beat a 5870 in more games then not.

A gtx 480 loses to 2 gtx 285's

sometimes i wonder is the thing. he has made a good few perfectly coherent posts that made sense, but the rest of the time he reminds me of a few people i have met who spent most of their time on meth. either way, he's probably quite happy off in his own world either way 🙂. if he does indeed have a mental handicap then a mod is free to delete the pic.
 
You know, I try not to remember who posts what to avoid being biased after someone posts something bad, but I'm definitely starting to remember Tweakboy.

sorry guys, my brother has been through lots of that same shit. he tried suicide at 16, has been medicated for much of his life, and he still has lots of problems. guess what? he can post a coherent sentence on a website. tweakboy could too if he cared to make the effort. if he wants somebody to hold his hand and cuddle with him he needs therapy, not video cards.

yea i have a friend who was like that as well. he turned to heroin and coke to solve his problems, and he's probably ODed about 5 times now, its amazing he isnt dead. he tried to kill himself last march (relapsed pretty bad) by injecting a lethal dose of coke into his femoral but when he went for the second needle it snapped (he was already convulsing badly). i remember him speed dialing me and all i could here on the other end was him twitching on the floor. some nasty stuff. but yea, even when he was doped out of his mind he could still type a coherent paragraph. was like that on and off for 3 years up until april when he finally checked himself into AA. unless theres something in the range of severe mental illness going on that's actually impairing his take on reality then it seems more like a grab for attention than anything else. either that or he spends most of his time on psychoactive drugs, but the only ones i know of which would make you consistently act the way tweakboy does are only given out in institutions, where he wouldnt have internet access in the first place. idk what to think at this point to be honest D:
