The next big AT&T phone?

The next 'big' phone wil be the Note (it is 5.3)

The at&t branded nexus should be out in 30 or 45 days (but i'm not so sure it is a great phone). LG and HTC will likely have a new phone out on at&t soon but to be honest I would go with one of the galaxy s2; or Note if it is not too large.

I'm not sure if the Note is still pocketable; but it has very good battery life mostly because the battery is huge.

When is the s2 hd coming out. I think the Note will be too big to have as a phone. I see amazon has the s2 skyrocket for 119 now, but would hate to get that if the hd version will be out in the next week or 2.

I like the Captivate and would prefer the S2 regular vs Skyrocket as I didnt want LTE-sapping battery life plus the smaller form factor. But didn't want to use a 2yr subsidy on an S2 regular if some better phones were coming.

s2 hd i believe is the same as the skyrocket with an updated screen.

At least when the Skyrocket came out, the knock on it was in fact you could NOT selectively turn off LTE. I haven't followed it since, but perhaps they updated the firmware to allow it? I'd prefer not to have to load a custom ROM just to do this.

I'd also prefer if we could move back to a 4.3" screen and then minimize the bezel and overall size of the phone including no hard buttons due to ICS, rather than keep growing the size of the dang phones (I guess 4.65 is the new 4.5 which was the new 4.3)

But nobody asked me I guess
