The news is in HD now?!?!

Just turned on the TV and my local ABC affiliate is broadcasting the 4pm news in HD.

Is it the same thing in other parts of the country?

I don't know if my local news in San Antonio is in HD yet, though I would assume not. I'll find out in the next few days though.

Edit: From the listings I see, it looks like San Antonio's isn't, but Houston's is. That's pretty much what I expected.

Haha, WRAL (Raleigh, NC) has been broadcasting in HD for awhile now. Actually, I think they were the first.

Now that others are jumping on, I guess they can't say the only local news station broadcasting in HD in their little intro anymore
