I've been going through this foum and others looking for an LCD to buy. I came across the VP191b, and the newest generation of this LCD is advertised as 8ms, but I can't find a definitive answer on whether it has a 6-bit or 8-bit panel.
I know that the previous 16ms version had an 8-bit panel, and one of the Newegg reviews says that the new 8ms version also has an 8-bit panel, but this isn't enough convincing evidence. I can't find a serious answer out there; all I've read was that it has "over 16 million colors" :roll:
Does anyone know? If this is indeed an 8-bit display with an 8ms response time, I will buy it for sure, because I don't know of any other monitor that would match these specs.
