Smart Wal-mart, smart. :D

Man, I was just thinking today that I'd pay $100 for a controller that is identical to the 360 controller in every way except that it controls the PS3.

Closest I've seen yet...

At the very least it has rounded in instead of out thumbsticks.

Looks promising. I'd really have to hold it in my hand to see how it feels... but I might just have to bite the bullet and take a $50 chance. Reviews on Amazon.com are positive. I'd love to know if they did anything about the L2/R2 buttons.

Maybe I'll see if I can find one in a B&M store.

Here's a front shot of it:

Trigger button is a little more pronounced and the shoulder sticks out more too.

I know that Sam's Club has them in store and I think Sears does too.

And if for nothing else, the "AA" battery pack will add a little extra weight to it, which is something that I miss from the 360 controller.

There's got to be someone out there who wrote a PS3 driver for the Xbox 360 controller with the USB receiver... no?

Back in reality... MS will have a motion control, controller at some point or another. I look for it for sure with the next system, if not sooner. Its just the way the industry is going.

If you do pick it up--let us know. I'd be interested in hearing how well its made and how it feels.
