The new RNC Chairman is a fiscal liberal, pro-lincoln/reagan, and pro-war POS RINO.

It's really sad when the Republicans choose an FDR for chairman.

I guess Michael Steele is going to be the last good Chairman the RNC ever had?

That said, I really don't have much hope for 2012 as the GOP nominee will probably be Mike Huckabee as of whom I'll not be voting for. It sickens me to no end that they pick him which is basically Obama running unopposed. They should pick someone different, but they won't. I'm going to give up and just let the democratic little fuckers who hate this country and its founding principles win.

I'll be voting for the Constitutional Party's candidate from now on.

the RNC chairman's job is to raise money. his personal ideology doesn't really matter one way or the other.

When Michael Steele dropped out, he endorsed a woman. She had the endorsement of Dick Cheney and John Boehner.

She was a Big Pharma lobbyist.

That says a whole lot about the party - and the fact she lost might be a very good thing.

Well, gotta say one thing for the altruism of ole Lance P., when he was mere The State of Wisconsin Republican chairman, he saw no conflict of interest about steering $90,000 dollars of GOP billings to his own law firm. So we know this guy means business for the GOP. And he sure knows how to make his principles pay off.

Welcome to the New World Teabag Wikileaks Anarchist Order, where Lincoln is a villain.

No kidding. Teabaggers and anarchists don't like Lincoln's policies but they sure like the way he grew up. They want everybody in this country to grow up the same way.

I win!! I guessed who started this thread after reading half of it's title.

I must admit I am also sad to see Steele go. He was good for at least one hilarious skit a week on the Daily Show, and he massively crippled the RNC's fundraising efforts.

On paper, 'Chairman Steele led the Republican party from crushing losses in 2006 and 2008 when it controlled all branches, back to the biggest win since 1994 in 2010'.

It's amazing to see how someone can be so squewed to an end of the political spectrum, that Lincoln, around which the original Republcan party was founded, is viewed as a liberal. Of course that's exactly whats happening with the emergence of the Tea Party. They'd hate Reagan if he were running for office now.

Republicans probably would have won big regardless in 2010, and Steele's inability to fund a get-out-the-vote effort might have even cost them some close races.

I would more say Anarchist 420 thread are so 1710. And ole Ararchist would have to get dragged yelling kicking and screaming through a few centuries of history to catch up to the modern era.

Interesting point. Three of the greatest icons of the Republican Party, Lincoln, Teddie Roosevelt and Eisenhower most likely would be thrown out of the modern Republican Party as so-called RINOs today. Which is a sad reflection on the decline of a once noble party.

Today's "Conservative" Republicans would be inclined to remove at least two of the faces from Mount Rushmore.

Lance P. will be very good at accepting special interests money, but the interesting thing may end up being if the Tbaggers end up defying both Lance and weeping John.

As a dimocrat I may believe that Tbaggers are delusional, but I still can respect the fact that many in the Tbaggers electorate believe their own fantasies.

And if Tbaggers representatives duly elected crawl in bed with Lance and weeping John, the genuine T baggers electorate may not take their betrayal lying down. 2011 may well prove to be a watershed political year.
