The new patch (824146) from microsoft is slowing down internet?

I noticed this too...after rebooting.

But then I realized it only affects IE, Firebird seems to be as fast as normal???

I rebooted several times. I have been having problems since yesterday.

okay. I have uninstalled the patch and everything is fine now. Wierd. Is this happening to anyone else?

(Mozilla) firebird is just a browser; mozilla is a browser plus mail client etc.

edit: uninstalled, still slow. heh.
