Maybe it's just me.. but I really prefer the old control panel. I recently bought an 8800GTS 640MB and I think my 7800GTX looked way better. I can't tell if I'm just not using the new control panel to the best of its ability, or what..

The new control panel doesn't let me adjust the sharpness at all. Is it supposed to be like that? My games look super fuzzy. Lines are not crisp and defined. I put everything else on the highest possible setting, but Final Fantasy XI still looks like I'm running my old Radeon 9500pro on it. The framerates are nice, but the image quality is crappy.. considering what I paid for this card.

Is there a good 3rd party control panel that anyone recommends? I google'd it, but I didn't find anything conclusive.

Isn't there an option so switch to the old one? There was on the version I downloaded last night.

No.. there isn't. There is that option on my 7800GTX, but not on my 8800GTS. Is anyone else not able to adjust their image sharpness or is it just me? The sliding bar is greyed out.. and I can't move it.. my games look pretty fuzzy. I'm getting really discouraged with this.

When I had my GTS 640, I also had a lot of fuzzy text and blurry images. For me....I was using DVI and that was the problem. I switched and used the VGA adapter on the DVI port, then everything looked perfect. Try that and see if it work's.

Heh.. actually, I am using the VGA port. It's going through my KVM switch. Like I said though.. my 7800GTX looked way sharper than my 8800GTS. I'm unable to adjust the image sharpness in nVidia's crappy control center and I feel like that's my entire issue.
