The fiance of a close friend of mine wants one so badly.... she thinks it's adorable... I threatened to get big round stickers and spray insulation and turn it into a fuzzy dice if she gets one.

Good car for yuppies.

58 cubic foot of storage!!! That's almost as much as my subie wagon.

Yeah, but I wouldn't trade my 06 Legacy wagon for 2 brand new Cubes! FWIW, they reviewed the Cube last night on Motor Trend TV and the ONLY thing I liked about it was the 34 mpg they reported getting during their tests.

The thing is hideous to me, but I'll give Nissan an A for effort. They stuck their neck out with this one, it's the most futuristic vehicle that's ever made it off the show floor into production.

What's so futuristic about a box with 4 wheels?

The nissan cube is selling well (for this current economy) and has been doing likewise in japan for the past few years

The cube is selling well? Can you show me the numbers?

about 2-3k a month, which isn't bad.

it sold 5k with C4C last month, a little bit more than the xB and yaris.

This is along the lines of the car Homer Simpsons designs for his brother, which then effectively bankrupts him.

Saw one on the road a couple days ago. Horrendous.

I blame Toyota and Honda for starting all this shit with the Scion xB and the Element...or as I call them, the Short Bus and the Toaster.

I refer to the Honda as the Excrement.

Haven't actually looked at the photos, have you?

Thanks, my eyes just melted. At least I can type by touch.

I like a "glass half full" guy

I don't mind the funky interior except for the pubic patch in the middle of the dashboard. I'm sure it's functional but WTF? The exterior isn't as nice as the Soul but overall I like the car for some strange reason.

There's one that parks next to me every day where I live. All Nissan did was get some large-sized cardboard boxes, paint them, and throw a few lawnmower engines in.

When I was in Japan a few weeks ago, this car was really popular there. I acctually thought it looked good in Japan. I just don't think it will look good on American roads for some reason.. 🙁

I like it

I saw it in a parking garage parked close to my car. It's incredibly awful looking. The windows suck, the rear sucks, the entire shape sucks. The only reason one would buy it is because of its price. Other than that, it's a car that someone needs to do target practice on.

I guess Pontiac had poor timing in the ugly vehicle segment. The one thing that stuck out to me is how little sits between the bumper and rear tires. If you are rear ended and live, the thing is pretty much totaled. How could a 20-30mph crash not completely destroy the suspension?

Taken a look at a Mini from the side lately?
