I think it's stupid as well but that won't stop people from buying it..just look at the Pontiac Aztec.

The Aztec transcended ugly, we're going to need a new word to describe it, ugly doesn't begin to cover it.

Ugly or not, you're not going to get more unique in a brand new vehicle for less than $20k.

Is that furry circular thing in the middle of the dash a piece of shag carpet?

Uhh that is hideous.

Looks like a nice vehicle if you want something unique and utilitarian. That "carpet" may be a good idea to hold loose items in place, also, I think it's optional since one of the interior photos doesn't have it.

You must have left out the part where someone was forcing you at gunpoint to buy one.

It won't be unique if a bunch of other people buy it for the same reason.

The truth is that this vehicle looks like some kind of star trek shuttle or boat's cabin put on wheels. I haven't seen such a silly looking vehicle in a long time. It makes the kia soul look downright badass by comparison.

The way the bumper sticks out is simply stupid. Why not go vertically up from there instead of curving back in? You'd increase cargo capacity significantly.

I can't imagine driving one home. I would absolutely be getting laughed at by my neighbors and not because it's cheap but because they would then have indisputable proof that my testicles never dropped.

Saw one on the road a couple days ago. Horrendous.

I blame Toyota and Honda for starting all this shit with the Scion xB and the Element...or as I call them, the Short Bus and the Toaster.

Believe or not, I saw many people think Cube is unique and cute. And believe or not, I also think it's somewhat cute. lol.

And yes, they are selling very well. Selling much better than some cars ATers praise about (ie. Genesis), I believe.

Price difference much?

And of course they're selling well. They're hideous and tacky as hell.

Well, I should have said "compare to what ATers say." :p Anyway, design is always subjective. Let's not be a moron who judge the car by its look.

Uh, how is that moronic? Aesthetics play a huge part in the purchasing decision. Last time I was shopping for a vehicle there were certain models I crossed off the list immediately just because of how they looked. Anyone who says they don't take looks into account when buying a vehicle is lying. Plain and simple.

Beyond that, my point was that suburban Americans will buy anything as long as it's ugly enough. Subtlety and elegance have been lost on 20 and 30somethings in this country for a while now.

What I am saying is that it's YOUR view and sure, YOU can judge the car by its view for YOUR OWN purchase. But why come to this public forum, telling how it looks bad to YOUR eyes and saying "it's ugly, it's stupid, it's designed by retard, blah blah blah"? That sounds moronic enough to me.

Let me repeat myself again. Design is subjective matter. Even if it looks ugly to your eyes, it doesn't mean it's ugly to everyone. Ugly is subjective.

Audi's interior is ugly (For that matter, all the European cars are). Prior to Bangle, BMW's design was outdated, and I thank to Bangle pushing BMW's design more trend leader. Those are my view, but I don't come here and say that because that's my SUBJECTIVE view. Duh.

Now let's be fair - I have no idea who designed it. If it was a retard, that would make sense, but it may not have been. I don't know, and it's silly to speculate.

But the fact that it's an ugly and stupid car? Inarguable.

No, ugly is pretty well defined. Some people are just wrong. Like, people who disagree with me about what's ugly. Like the Cube. That thing is fucking ugly as hell.

You are already wrong thinking ugly is inarguable. So, no.

Again, plainly wrong. So, no.

You seem like confusing the meaning of "wrong" and "different" seriously. How people define "ugly" is different. You saying "ugly" is well defined is wrong. Do you see the difference between differerent and wrong?

No u! I suppose it's technically arguable, but so is 2+2=5. It's just that the people arguing in favor of that happen to be wrong, just like people arguing that the Cube isn't fugly as hell.

Do you see the difference between the ugly-ass Cube and good looking vehicles?

It's light enough I doubt it'll be a problem. I wouldn't take it to the drag strip, but it would get around town just fine.

Edit: Time warp ftw!

lol. I am already shocked enough for today by knowing there is actually someone thinking ugly is inarguable and defined. And now I am more surprised you saying "ugly" has clear answer like "2+2 = 4". OH MY GOD!!!

And yes, I do see the difference between Cube and other vehicle like A5. But that is DIFFERENCE, and you just said that. They just look DIFFERENT!! One maybe worse than another, but tt doesn't automatically mean one is ugly. Because ugly is subjective matter and never defined.

Oh my god. It's only 11:34 am and I am already surprised enough for the day. I am going to have a heart-attack if I keep seeing your response ;)

How can you not understand this? I'll even break it down to an algemabraical equational thingy for you:

X = ugly, where X is defined as the Nissan Cube.

And yes, I do see the difference between Cube and other vehicle like A5. But that is DIFFERENCE, and you just said that. They just look DIFFERENT!! It doesn't automatically mean one is ugly to another.

Yes it does, unless you're blind. And Jesus, even blind people could feel around on the exterior of that atrocity and tell it's hideous.

That won't stop dipshit 20something women from buying it because it's "cute" though.

I wouldn't bother. It'd be a waste of medical dollars.
