You know I can really see this being abused. It works real well on smart phones.

All this crap... really... how do you read it?

You can cheat by looking at the URL in most of the images (except mine) or you have to use a reader that you paste the image source into and it reads it for you. The easiest way is to use a smart phone with an app (I used an iphone 4!). :biggrin:

I really hope the corporate world takes to this like wildfire. This is something that is just so easy, doesn't exactly cost anything to add, and can provide an extra layer for consumers.

So much information can be contained in so little space - just imagine large signs downtown with one of these on them - our phones can read these things very well, and the right size can be read from basically any distance.

I know I've already used barcode scanning on regular barcodes for comparison shopping at retail stores. Smart phones are the future! It still feels so odd whenever I stop and think about what we can do with our phones now, and what I have already done with them... and to know they are still working on more things to be done from the phone.
