The new mac store near me... (DROOOOOOL)

all i know, is i walk in there, and i see, WHITE. grey, and shiny objects.

every computer there is SO nice. they have like 15 laptops sittin out, about 20 desktops.

those computers look so nice.

i applied there for a job.

I was in there, browsing the computers, and noticed they now have MS office for OSX. yes, word, powerpoint, excel, publisher.

i hope i get a job their.

or at staples, or officemax, or microcenter, or circuit city.

Yep, no question Apple's Industrial Design is outstanding. But not everything that looks expensive is necessarily well made.

Seems like it's been going downhill lately too. My iBook G4 has a few qurks that are 'just the way the product is'

Hope you don't need to know anything about the internet,
because you are the weakest link when it comes to hypertext.

that came outta left feild...

yeah. Mac's are quirky. and the think is..."mac people" are so addicted to them, they are just blind to them.

they had a whole series laptops (G4 Titanium 550/667mhz) that had TERRIBLE problems with paint peeling off after mild use.

"thats just the way it is"
geez.

I had a guys computer that kept erroring out of FinalCutPro constantly when encoding to DVD. The applecare tech actually TELL me not to stress the computer that much....WTF?!?!?

A friend of mine got 3 iBooks that were warped from heat right out of the box. Makes you wonder what (if any) environmental testing is done on these systems.

Apple to me is like the VW of computers. Great feel and perception of quality, but all only skin deep.

that sucks ass. but warping from heat, could have been caused by sitting in a shipping truck at 140F no?
