the new limp bizkit cd....what's your opinion??

Sorry if this has already been posted sometime in the last couple of days, but I didn't really start reading all the posts till yesterday. If you have listened to the new Limp Bizkit album, do you like it??

I think it's pretty good. It's gonna take me a couple of days though before I figure out whether it's better than the previous two. It has some good tracks on it, especially the song "Hot Dog". Crazy stuff. Keep it rockin Limp Bizkit.

I loved "Significant Other" (I was shocked to!), but "Chocolate Starfish..." is a real comedown and probably gonna be the last record they do.

Fred Durst was really writer's blocked and it's obvious that the first thing he came up with, went on the record and to the stores. I liked the fact that "SO" didn't mean much, but this new stuff is just STUPID. The same whiny melodies that were new last here are just recycled and annoying and the fact that he repeats within the same album shows that he's out of ideas. It's easy to spot what songs he's repeating from "SO".

The music OTOH really RAWKS at times! I wish that there was a karaoke version so that the worst parts (Fred) could be gone so I can groove on the band. Wes Borland is working on a solo thing and he doesn't really like Fred and feels limited by the music. I'm betting that after the tour, he takes his pile of money and leaves to do some really wild, freaky music.

It'll sell a ton, but it won't hang around as long as "SO". "SO" was their best and this is just weak in comparison.
