No gadgets, not enough revolutionary action, not enough womanizing. They are seriously trying to make this movie way too serious and realistic in my opinion. What happened to the good old days of Roger Moore who was able to act like a total doofus sometimes and make you laugh, meanwhile having a laser cutter attached to his watch.

This bond had no gadgets at all, there was nothing special in use, the action was medicore, no crazy stunts or stuff that kept you strapped in your seat. Isen't Bond's car supposed to be bad ass, equipped with missles, metal spikes, oil, shields, etc?

The womanzing was bad, he diden't even bang the main girl? The whole plot was stupid, a player in a organization trying to obtain utility rights to a country? LOL oh no let's not compare that to Moonraker trying to NERVE gas the entire planet.

There are no memorable foes anymore, jaws etc, all the bad guys he defeats are just regular people. This new Bond installement felt more like a Jason Bourne episode than a true Bond film.

I don't know about anyone else, but that was just total crap, waste of money, should be stripped of the Bond badge.

And where the fuck is Q or R or whoever giving Bond his new gadgets and adding a fun element to the film?

Here's just the latest thread on this - posted yesterday.

On a side note, I watched Death Race the other day and felt that movie was much better than the new Bond.

All the gadgets they were using in the last couple Brosnan movies made them pretty cheesy.

The scene where he remote controls the BMW around the garage is cheesy? Sorry but that's what Bond does. It's supposed to be fun and cheesy, that's what Bond has been for the past 20 + movies.

No, it got to the point where it seemed like they were writing the story, and whenever they couldn't figure out how to fill a hole they would just throw some stupid gadget in.

The gadgets used in the old school bond movies were implemented into the storyline much better.

edit: I guess what i'm trying to say is that in the last couple brosnan movies, they relied on gadgets to make the plot work. In the old bond movies, the gadgets were just a cool side on the plot.
