Dont care much for the marlboro decals ... the sidepods look simpler than others ... the nose looks higherup than last year ...

Reubens looks dignified ... Schumi's tie ... hmmm....

Game Over for others .. i think ..

F2005

Go Ferrari !

see u at USGP 🙂

I've always thought he looked like a younger, German Jay Leno...you know with the chin and all 😉

Schumacher has always been a little fashion-challenged. You'd think Ferrari would have some kind of personal valet to help him keep his tie straight, though.

Did they have that mini-wing below the main nose wing on the F2004? I don't remember seeing it.

The nose is higher up. Part of the new aero restrictions placed on the teams by the FIA in an effort to keep speeds down. Of course, they are already as fast as last year and have broken some lap records in testing already.

Yeah, it's difficult to tell though. Testing is one thing but racing is another. You've got to assume that a car with a heavy fuel load and tires that will last a race distance along with the new aero restrictions will be slower than last year. In testing you see all kinds of crazy things being tried that might not pass FIA scrutineering.

i really like the new BAR, lets hope it gives ferrari a good run

from what i read, Button had two engine failure at the last day of testing (it was raining) ... plus Button will not be with BAR next year (the 75% contract deal) ... I do want Ferrari to have a competition but I dont think it will be from BAR ...

Go Ferrari !

Ferrari has some truely amazing engineers! It looks like a lot of time was spent in the wind tunnel to shape the F2005. You can just that all of the surface shapes and positions have a point.... to make the car stick.

and i feel sorry for rubens, hes my favourite driver, and a good one at that. shame he has to play second fiddle to schumacher

I don't. He could easily be the primary driver on any team (except Ferrari, of course), but he has said several times that he likes the position he's in and that he wants to stay with Ferrari.

McLaren and Renault will most likely be the challengers for Michael...er Ferrari this year.

BTW-Did you know that Ferrari isn't planning on racing the new car until the 5th race of the season? They are planning to run last years cars modified to comform to the new regulations.

Haven't they done that each of the last three seasons? The funny thing is that, in each case, the prior year's Ferrari completely dominated the competition.
