there are only 3 new episodes from stuff he recorded before he split. idk how they're gonna pull a season out of it.

I'd say that the average episode of Chapelle's show is marginally humorous; however, every so often he pulls out a winner, like the Black White Supremecist and the whole bit with Wayne Brady.

Easy. They'll just keep showing the first episode over and over for the next 3-4 weeks. Then the 2nd and then the 3rd in the same fashion. :/

I feel sorry for Dave.

Screw Commedy Central, this is exactally what he didn't want. The new episodes were funny, but nowhere near the level of the first two seasons. Instead of going out with a bang everyone is going to remember the iffy third season.

(barber lifts up his shirt to reveal gun tucked in the waist)
'man, thats f*cked up!'

Not really. It's his "lost episodes." If anything the DVD and the season will gross him more money. And actually I found the new episodes to be hilarious. Hopefully he will continue doing standup and he won't be a pussy about this whole thing.

All the bits in the new episode I thought dealt to much with how rich he has become. Almost a foreshadow of him getting too stressed and getting ready to quit.

They're not trying, anymore. When they first announced they'd be airing these last few eps they claimed it was a new season, but now they just say "Lost Episodes."

well surely they're not going to just show the three episodes back to back. they are going to pull them over a 12 or 24 week span thus making it a season. they want to cash in on the chapelle hype.

the new Tupac song skit

That wasnt too bad...got a couple of laughs out of me.

I see they have other cast members hosting instead of Dave, guess he didn't even show up to tape the intros to the skits.

I think he left before they finished taping the skits, and they must tape all the skits before they do the hosting stuff.

Also I thought it was pretty funny and I'll certainly watch the other 2 eps

I'm not sure if any of you have heard of this new-fangled do-hickey called the internet, but you search next week's TV listing of Chappelle with minimal effort:

Episode #302.
Dave hits the campaign trail as Howard Dean; Gary Coleman; racial stereotype pixies.

Original Airdate: July 16, 2006.
