I would like to see that, but their computer score is killing them

They will climb past Texas, TCU and Tennessee in a couple of weeks.

Looking at how everything falls, Michigan could wind up 3rd or 4th if they finish the season with two wins. I don't forsee USC losing, so no real shot at #2. But Michigan is primed to take the #2 spot if they do.

I dont see Michigan getting into number two unless all the one loss teams lose, and even then its shaky. They'd have to put a big hurting on OSU, and OSU would have to win pretty well over Purdue, and I dont see that happening. Tressel is Kryptonite to Michigan. And Navarre likes to suck when its important.

When you say "all the one loss teams", that is OSU/LSU/USC. I don't forsee LSU beating Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas AND winning the SEC championship game. If Michigan beats OSU, then that only leaves USC. Like I said in the post, I don't see USC losing. But if they did, Michigan would have a decent shot at #2. I am not saying it is LIKELY, I am just saying stranger things have happened (you know, like FSU, VaTech and Miami all losing in the same weekend).

As for Tressel, he has fared well against Michigan, but they have only met 2 times. OSU fans so quickly forget the 15 years before Tressel got there. Carr has always coached well against OSU. And Michigan have been world-beaters at home this year. Navarre may not be the best QB in the land, but he definitely has more offensive weapons at his fingertips than Krenzel does. We will see on Nov. 22nd.

against wimpy defenses yes, he manages to look like he knows what hes doing, against Ohio State's defense, hes gonna get hurt, oh and Chris Perry? Fox Sports has him 5th in Heisman watch, bwuhaha, wait til he hits the stonewall defensive line OSU has, holding thier last two oponents to negative rushing yards.

USC is so horribly overrated it makes me sick. They lost to the freaking 100+ ranked team, but because it was early on in their season it doesn't mean jack schit.

The BCS is a crock.

They haven't played anybody that is any good this year except Texas and we all know that Texas does not play very good when matched up against OU.

And we all know that Florida is playing the best ball at this time. That Leak kid is pretty good.

Too bad my Penn state tean is playing like a bad HS team.

I'd like to see OSU go to the championship game just to get whomped on by OU.

That would be enjoyable :)

I want to see an OU/USC championship game like most are predicting and wanting. I think that's the best potential matchup (although I think OU is on a whole other level from just about everyone right now.) USC has an explosive enough offense to maybe keep it interesting and their defense is strong enough to at least slow down OU's offense. I still think OU will take it all though the way they're playing right now.

I think the Buckeyes match up better, and this is why: I dont think anyone's offense is good enough to beat OU's defense. For them to lose, someone is going to have to beat OU's offense, and OSU's defense has the best chance of that. I dont give the Buckeye's even odds to do so, but if they were able to create a couple turnovers, and not give up any themselves, they'd have a shot.

A Pac 10 team play defence? is that possible.

OSU and OU. To be the Best you have to Beat the Best.

Rather than posting a new thread, I'll leech off Mookow and post my current BCS prediction.

Sugar Bowl: Oklahoma VS. USC, that gives Fiesta the first pick, and Rose the second.
Fiesta picks Ohio state and shafts Rose again, Rose takes Michigan, Orange takes FSU, that leaves LSU for Fiesta,
Rose will take Texas, leaving Pitt. for Orange.

Conference Champions go before replacement picks. Thus, if Ohio State beats Michigan, Rose bowl will get them. If Michigan Beats Ohio State, then Rose Bowl gets them as Conference Champion. In either case, I think the Rose Bowl wins.

I'm not ready to make my picks yet, But I think that at least 2 out of Ohio State, LSU and TCU will lose in thier last games.

TCU isn't likely to lose, but they still may not make a BCS game...

I'd say LSU is going to lose one of their remaining games for sure...

Oklahoma shouldn't lose any of their remaining games, but they really haven't played great in all of their games - check the Alabama game and the Colorado game - I don't know that they are any stronger than Miami's team was last year.

Ohio St, if it wins both games remaining, Purdue and Michigan, would likely pass USC for the #2 BCS spot, which would make the USC fans pretty sad, but we'll see if it gets to that.

In all honesty, I don't know that there is much of a difference between OSU and USC - I think OSU's D is better, but USC's O is better...special teams probably favor OSU
