It's TRUFORM. But I didn't even enable it, plus I have Radeon 64MB. I thought only the NEW Radeon have this feature (Hardware implemented).
Of course my Radeon can run TRUFORM with software rendering, but why would ATi turn it on by default?
 
I saw this on Rage3d forum , dunno if it works.

Open the Console.

Type ATI
hit TAB
enter in 0 and press enter

then type ATI again
this time hit TAB twice
enter 0 and press enter

I think it disable Truform in HL/CS.
 
I think the command to turn off truform is ati_npatch 0. Type that in the console.

PS- I'm not sure if its suppose to be 0 or 1. Just try both and see which works.
