The new App Update on Windows Update: Anyone tried running Easy CD Creator 4 and DirectCD using it?

I noticed that ECD 4 was listed on the list of Fixed App's of Microsoft's December App Compatibilty fix list, and I'm just wondering if it lest DCD 4 and ECD 4 run on XP? I know a friend that has ECD 4 and I'm wondering if ECD4 works in XP using this update. Thx!

ECD 4 works fine in XP with the latest patch from roxio.
