When I heard that there was going to be a new 3 stooges movie I was like hell ya. Then I saw the trailer and now I'm pissed. They took the 3 stooges and put them in modern times and filmed a movie of how they would be in today's world.

What I wanted was more of a documentary type of film of how they became the stooges and how they were off stage and maybe even film it in black and white. I'm not so sure I want what they doing for it now. :\

I have some hopes for this movie. I grew up watching the old reruns on a local channel in Boston Sunday mornings and especially their marathons on New Years Eve. While there is no way to replace any of the 3 (especially Curly), I am hoping this does an admirable job of it.

Yup, generations grew up watching the 3 Stooges on WSBK TV-38 in Boston, they are beloved [except Joe Besser or Joe Derita].

This movie better not besmirch the Stooges or fans will sue. [Is the law firm of Dewey, Cheatem & Howe still in business?]

They usually show all the funny parts in the previews, if this was all they had to offer, I hold out no hope for this movie.

At least there was a good use of Snooki at the end of that clip, nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

I have the good fortune to live near a kick-ass, comprehensive, and world-class professionally done museum on them.

It's open once month, it's free, and it truly rawks: The Stoogeum.

I lost it at the Snooki clip when I saw the trailer on TV last night!

That's about 85 miles NE of me, but I think I'll check it out, sometime.

I'll admit the snooki clip was funny. I'll go see this but not what I wanted.

protip: without knowing anything about it, it's going to fucking suck, just like all half-assed remakes.

I thought Joe Derita was pretty good in 3 Stooges meet Hercules, while not perfect i still think both Joe's sould be in the same picture as the rest of the stooges, just in the back row.

The slapstick was good for the 30's but not for 2012. Anyone slapping someone like they did in their day, would be arrested immediately thus making it unbelievable to the fans, to me at least.

Bashing someone in the head with a hammer or frying pan will always be funny.

Maybe if they made up the concept, but not a 77 year old one. Error 403: Funny not found.

Farrelly Brothers movies are usually better than the trailers. They come up with stuff thats too gross for advertisements.

I've been a fan since the late 60s ... I own every episode, all the movies and some of their lesser known "works" like "Kook's Tour" (their last). I fully expected this to be a waste of time but as pleasantly surprised ... it was actually quite funny and (IMHO) in line with what these guys might have done if they were born 80 years later than they actually were.

I wait with patient anticipation ...
