This car inside and out is awesome!

But as I sat inside which fits me perfectly I noticed something off.

As I sit and look into the tiny LCD readout I noticed it is a tad lopsided.

And so I sat in 5 other mustang and they too were lopsided.

It is a slight uneven tilt. with the right side going down a bit.

I re adjusted my sitting and also removed my fat wallet to confirm and made sure I was sitting straight and yes indeed it is tilted!

Quality control was passed on this type of inspection and I bet they thought nobody would notice it.

I'll take some pictures later in the day.

Are you sure it's not intentional ? Some cars do this a bit, my 1996 Camry had a similar feature where it's slightly tilted towards the driver.

I've never really been a fan of the Mustang look. It always looked so feminine to me. I expect to be alone in this though.

I am not talking about the top or the bottom jutting out but I am talking about the the left side VS the right side is a centimeter or 2 higher than the other side.

Per history you are wrong as Mustang is the worlds first muscle car/sports car depending on how you mod it.

I've heard that before from friends that like the challenger POS. I don't see how, if the mustang is feminine then so is the Camaro and Corvette.

I also see a Corvette as a very feminine car. Moreso than the Mustang actually. And I absolutely recognize I have an unpopular opinion. Just my taste I guess. I don't mean to offend.

It's an illusion.

It might look tilted to you because of the cowl shape.

Yep, the cowl slopes down from the center of the car toward the door.

The LCD display is square relative to the gauges, not the cowl.

I can see what you meant but also feel like the left side of the digital is pinching out more than on the right.

If I had $40,000 I would build my own dash to make it look like this minus the optical illusion.

Those cars are more fish/shark-like than anything. Most car designs can't possibly look "feminine" unless they are given a specific color or interior design that lends itself to that aesthetic.

Now if you think sleek or aerodynamic design like that of fighter jets is "feminine" to you, then what I think you are actually saying is that the curves (as opposed to larger mass and hard angles and lines) evokes the female form. Which isn't a bad thing - it's why there's such a visceral reaction to some sports cars, for instance. But the design itself isn't "feminine" as in it's geared to appeal to women, as a hot pink car might be (not saying that all women do or don't like the color pink, it's just the cultural norm to market things that way, at least in the western world).

I really like what they did with the car.. I'm excited to upgrade my 2014 Mustang for a new one in a few years.

Yep. :awe:

The only aspect I do not like is the front overhang. It just seems like the front wheels are too far back and need a push forward.

The interior is a huge step forward. There have only been a couple generations of mustangs with nice interiors. This is one of them.

You may be on to something. I could care less what a fighter jet looks like, but the rest of your post seems to resonate with me. I understand the design isn't geared towards women, certainly not the interiors. The interiors are in no way feminine by my description.

I don't hate it. It just doesn't do anything for me. As I said, just my taste.

You might be from the generation of men who liked things to be boxy looking.

I have a 2015. I never noticed any of the displays being tilted.

And I LOVE my mustang. I went all out on it too. Everything but the Adaptive cruise control and riccaro seats. Riccaro's would have meant no heated or cooled seats. I would have liked the adaptive cruise, but It just wasn't available in any of the cars around when I purchased mine. Actually, I have been checking inventories around New England all spring and I have yet to find any dealers selling a Mustang with the combination of Colors and features of my car. So, I am glad I purchased when I did. :)

I got it early in November, and yes I drove it during one of the worse New England Winters ever. I purchased a set of rims and winter tires as well. It handled the winter surprisingly better than my 2012 focus w/ all seasons.

It is amazing how many comments and "thumbs up" I get in this car. The look is awesome inside and out. All the features are there and it goes like a bat out of hell when I want it to.

It's a matter of opinion but for me the front grill and headlights are just ugly but that's the way designs are headed these days.

I took one for a ride too - it was okay, way nicer than past years, but I'm having a hard time liking any of the retro-muscle cars. Just something about the size that bugs me. Maybe I've been driving German cars too long.

One thing for sure, you get a shit load of car for the money - hard to beat the bang/buck.

The headlights and grill are some of my favorite aspects. To quote a friend when he first saw the car... "It looks angry!"

Overall it's got a very modern look, but still has the Muscle Car feel.
