The Neo Project is currently working on the rsa-576 factoring contest. WU's go by fast and there are very few anandtech team members. Client runs unobtrusively and seems to interact well with other DC projects. Also looks like a good candidate for dial-up users/sneakernetting. For those who are curious:

Site must be down right now. Too bad, because if it wasn't, I'd let the thing run alongside Folding@Home while I'm not using the computer. Oh well, consider this a bump-to-subscribe-so-I-can-check-it-out-later. :)

I tried it a little. Seems like a nice compact client.

I'm a little confused by what the difference between "Total Units Completed" and "Units Completed" would be. I'm showing 67 and 86 respectively with none in my out queue.

Bump ^

And to answer my own question above. They seem to have an issue of loosing some of the work units when they are uploaded to the servers. Early growing pains I think.

It sure is fun to watch a work unit crunched in a matter of seconds, though. A person with just one or two computers could move through the stats quickly in NEO.
