Housing project? Apartment complex? Dormitory? It's a very efficient shape for a high/mid rise with parking, greenspace, what have you.

The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix.

Until the Nazis used this symbol, the swastika was used by many cultures throughout the past 3,000 years to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck.

Its a lucky place to live.

The foyer in my house has brass swastikas embedded in the floor tiles. Sometimes they are just fo decoration. That's it and that's all...

note - it is a pre-war house and that was a common (of buddist origin) motif at the time...

Its a lucky place to live.

A little known fact is that the Asians adopted the swastika from an ancient tribe from the Steppes known as the "Gnazees"-- "Gna" meaning "we" and "zees" meaning "hate Jews".
