From what I read, a few PSU manufacturers in the past included a pink +5V sense wire on some of their PSUs, similar in function to the brown +3.3V sense wire that is officially part of the ATX standard. I know Bestec included it on a few of their PSUs in the past, even though it isn't part of any official ATX standard.
So, is there any particular reason why would some manufacturers include a pink +5V sense wire?
