The MSI HD4850

This probably belong in Video, but I have been recommending it 🙂. Newegg reviews are the worst kind of information you can go by, it's a great heatsink theres no reason not to get it over a stock card considering it comes in a $164 AR.
 
Oh I saw a thread here discussing after market HD4850 sinks, and just had the though, since I was taking a good look at the MSI card.
 
I can't figure out these cards that come with a modified cooler and don't even cover all of the VRM/RAM chips with heatsinks. Even the reference model is flawed so they are thinking that it doesn't matter?

The Mosfets are desgined to operate at 125c and do not need extra cooling, but it can't hurt if you decide to put some sinks on them anyway.
