Maybe there was a software update while I was sleeping? This is a Sprint/Republic wireless phone.
I've complained previously about this device on these forums, but for general use it is actually decently fast. No gaming, but web surfing and podcast listening. It has a nice ergonomic plastic body, is decently small and portable, has an sdcard slot and overall is a tough little phone which doesn't feel fragile like other phones do.
