I just watched A History of Violence on DVD today and it was horrible IMO! :| Maria Bello was hot as usual though! :heart: Agree or disagree?

Totally disagree. It was my 2nd favorite movie of 2005 (Sin City was #1)

I thought it deserved much more acclaim and praise than it received in the media...but it was understandable, due to the extremely adult nature(s) of the film. But taking the violence and sexuality in stride, the movie was very well constructed with just a perfect cast and the cinematography was gorgeous.

It was probably a top 10 of the last year for me...never quite got around to putting that list together since it'd take forever

I don't know if this was about the same guy, nor is my wife, but she was telling me about how they were supposed to make some movie about a famous serial killer. And the reason why they had such a hard time tracking him down is that he killed prostitutes. Is this the right movie?

Yeah. That is the one she was talking about. She wasn't sure if this was the movie about him, but they were supposed to be making a movie about the Green River Killer.

I liked the movie. the sex scenes were awkwardly placed, makes you go "huh?" but you just roll with it.
